Emergency Department Profile
Approximately 37,500 annual emergency department visits
35 hours of physician coverage daily
36 hours of advanced practice provider coverage daily
Approximately 1:1 physician-to-APP coverage ratio
APP support focused primarily in Fast Track
Epic EMR
On-site specialty support, including cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and intensive care
About Baptist Health Paducah
Baptist Health Paducah is a 373-bed regional medical and referral center serving approximately 200,000 patients each year across four states. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including advanced cardiac and cancer care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, emergency treatment, rehabilitation, wound care, and women’s and children’s services.
Physicians benefit from extensive specialty resources, 24/7 neurology coverage, and the region’s only Level III NICU. The hospital also provides more than 45 points of care throughout western Kentucky and southern Illinois.
